Nursing and Midwifery is a Transformative Journal; authors can publish using the traditional publishing route OR via immediate gold Open Access. Our Open Access option complies with funder and institutional requirements.

Nursing and Midwifery is a peer-reviewed and open access scientific journal published from contributions of the field of nursing and midwifery. Its focus is on the theory and practice of nursing and midwifery, specifically focused on nursing research, clinical nursing, nursing education, evidence-based nursing, nursing ethics, and the psycho-social implications and problems encountered in nursing and midwifery. The journal accepts original research papers and reviews in English. Each manuscript is peer-reviewed by two reviewers independent on each other; the process is double-blind. All articles are published open access, with payment of article charges.

The aims of the journal are to:

 - Promote scientific query among nurses
 - Publish quality research articles
 - Highlight newer breakthroughs in different specialties of nursing.

It is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal which covers all the specialities in the field of nursing relevant to India as well as abroad. The editorial board includes experts from prestigious institutions all over India.
